OATLEY COTTAGE QUILT SITTERS CIRCLE™ is our patchwork group.

Quiltsitters Circle Application

If patchwork is your passion this group will provide the enthusiasm and inspiration to create many wonderful, stunning and perfectly pieced quilts for your family and friends. Each month the groups are able to marvel over the works of other members and encouraged to produce the next project. All patchworkers or quilters have a compulsive habit to collect beautiful fabric in their stash and in Quilt Sitters you will be inspired and encouraged to cut it to make stunning quilts.

The framework is based on techniques made famous by the internationally recognised quilter, teacher, author and fabric designer, Mary Ellen Hopkins.

Members can join one of the groups at Oatley Cottage or become a member via the email. Each month you will receive an original quilt design with detailed instructions, 10% discount on all patchwork fabrics, exclusive sewing days, challenges and special offers. Annual membership is $70.00 AUD (APPLICATION).

Groups meet at Oatley Cottage once a month in the evening or during the day. Each month you will see the creations from other members. You will be required to have “It’s Okay If You Sit On My Quilt’ By Mary Ellen Hopkins.

The group meets at Oatley Cottage on a Tuesday evening of the month (February to December) 7pm to 9pm or on a Tuesday morning 10am to 12pm
